So I have a MIghtyMig 190 from Sealey that I have used for a bunch of projects with no problem. Recently I noticed it was gassing all the time and was inconsistent in its arc so I purchased a gas solenoid from Sealey and replaced it, still no good. I also noticed that the torch is live all the time (without trigger pressed).
So I contacted Sealey about repairs and they use a network of repairers. I went to the nearest to me in Hitchin Herts and was told their tool guy has retired so no longer doing repairs.
Im thinking of swapping out the euro torch to see if that helps but would ideally like to find someone to service and repair in the south-east. any ideas?
I love the welder and it's done a great job getting me started on welding alongside some tutoring from my car restorer. Any help would be appreciated.
