I'm starting this thread mainly to document my planned project and also to invite comment from other members on here with an electronic engineering background....
The plan:
The R-tech 201AC/DC is a fine machine, but unlike the everlast equivalent, it doesn't feature the high speed pulse mode. The pulse runs from 0.5-25Hz and to be honest I want more
As my machine is long outside of warranty (a year or so past) and I've already had it apart, I'm going to do some investigation into the circuit that controls the pulse frequency with a view to increasing it, perhaps doubling it.
I don't need the the low end of 0.5 pps, this could quite easily be increased to 1pps, and a new high end of 50pps would be good.
