That’s odd, never really thought about it but I’m right handed too and that’s the way I’d use itWisnae me! I'm right-handed.
Around ten percent of the UK is left-handed so that narrows it down a bit...
I have a 60 year old 3 phase on car wheel balancer, the type you sit on, use it on my dodge, hard to put wooden wheels on a modern balancer!I actually own, but have never dared to use, a commercially made 3 phase hand held router!

They are brilliant. Often called K9 after Dr Who's robot dog.I have a 60 year old 3 phase on car wheel balancer, the type you sit on, use it on my dodge, hard to put wooden wheels on a modern balancer!
I used it a lot at work, especially on 5 series E28, they were a b1tch for steering wobble at 50 mph, my balancer did the wheel, hub and disc in one shot, until they got a puncture! did not like 60 year old 3 phase electrics inches away from my vital parts though! They are brilliant. Often called K9 after Dr Who's robot dog.
Not only do they balance the wheel but the whole hub as well. Back in 1987 there was only one garage in the whole Swansea area with one. He used to get loads of business because it did the best possible job.
What do I need, left or right? I got one of each…you pick…Do you have a hand?
The one in the middle. What do I need, left or right? I got one of each…you pick…
I saw this on another forum, and couldn't resist posting it here. It's very clever. Might be interesting to use, but can't help admire the ingenuous thinking.

I’ve watched a fair few of those Indian vids, amazing the quality of product they churn out…given their machinery resources…,It’s the sort of thing those ingenious Indians would use to re grind a ships crankshaft on the footpath of a crowded high street.
