As I keep wanting to take the welder up stairs & it's pretty much what it says on the tin, two roller wire feed, Binzel Ergo MB15 made in China Torch & it does only way 18KG, it does seem happy down at 30A, it's not very convincing at 160A but it doesn't even get warm welding 3mm plate. So if you want a high duty cycle at 70A then it doesn't seem bad. Biggest downside is it's nowhere near heavy enough to strap the cylinder to.
The spec sheet on the web says that, but the back of the machine says 30A & it does eem to go down that low, I'll see how good it is that low tomorrow...

Hello HancyM
I recently puchased the R-Tech <link removed> and queried the minimum amps and was told that the website info was incorrect and that it is indeed 30 amps minimum current when using 0.6mm wire, the owners manual available for download on website actually states 30 amps. They have now updated website with correct information.
I got some really thin steel and set it up on 0.6mm wire and was acutally able to get it to weld smoothly at 24amps with the arc force set to low, I must say I was very impressed my last (RIP) SIP machine could never put a weld down like this at minimum amps..
I've had a few mig welders in life and I must say I love this welder, I like the way I can set the welding power infinately and get the power just right for the job in hand, I always found on my last SIP welder 1 was too little and 2 just blew a big hole through work. Bonus having a genuine Binzel mig torch too, always found cheap mig torches to be a pain in the butt
