A long time ago, a gas supplier suggested I save gas by turning the flow right down to barely audible levels. So long as there's gas it's shielded he said. I know I know, that goes against recommendations. But if I'm welding something cosmetic, that won't impact safety or longevity, and is for personal use, then I don't care.
So my question is.... to cheap skate further, what sort of regulator is good for low flow? The few I have seem crude at low levels, going from no flow to high flow in a fraction of a turn.
