Noticed this today. Haven’t used the welder in a while. Is my gauge and/or regulator had it ?
Yes no flow. I cracked the bottle open to see what was left but the flow meter was already pegged right. I might try firing up the welder and squeezing the trigger but I suspect its call Tom for a new regulator! Time also for a proper flow meter as you say.I assume there is no flow.
That would indicate that the regulator is broken and is leaking high pressure gas into the low pressure area - I hope there is a pressure release valve.
It might be that there is some grit in the valve (in the regulator) or a leaking diaphragm. Whatever the case, I'd turn the cylinder valve off and replace the flowgauge (with a flow meter).
