Hello, found this forum via a car enthusiast forum.
I have an old SIP Migmate100. It served me well many years ago and I now need to get out of retirement and back to work.
However it has a small issue. The wire feeds OK when I am not welding. Sticking an arc means that the wire feed slows and the weld is not consistent.
I have two small videos taken on the phone to illustrate what is happening. The trouble is I cannot see a way of this forum hosting them without making an account on another platform.
As I understand it the wire not being fed at a constant rate could be due to a build up of "crud" in the liner. I would like a confirmation of this or maybe it is a different issue?
