Little job done today, a stainless steel firepit with surround, the customer has built a raised blockwork structure to house it,
First the surround, made from four pieces with mitred corners, although its stainless its going to be painted by the customer so no fancy cleaning up, just scuffed with a sander to give the paint a bit of a key
Then the pit, just folded and welded, wont be seen in use so just minimal cleaning
And how it goes together, the bottom of the pit will be a loose sheet sitting on a flange I've bent around the bottom, it will be peppered with 10 or 12mm holes, I haven't made that bit yet.
