My little shed stove is half way there,I said i wasn't cutting any thing else out with a grinder...not realizing the funny z axis for project plasma..is coming from the US and is a month away...i couldn't wait to get on with this.
A view of what it should look like in the video..but i wont be following the internals to the letter as ive decided on simplifying that area.
the plan is to have it mount on a frame keeping its overall triangular shape but for bit sawn log storage.

i know you have built it to that nice build but theres no secondary air and theres no primary air either you will get black smoke up your chimney and if your in a no smoke zone expect a knock at the door

these are smokeless stoves
this stove is a 6" stove it can be stood up

heres the second stove in use theres 4 videos as it works in normal updraft mode and you can spin it upside down and fire it and lay it on its side and fire it

Its just left over plate i had...i couldn't decide whether to have the pattern on the outside or in ..i will look into lining it as well as roping the door and draw front..
im actually in two minds whether to remake the door as I've found a place the offers fire glass to size cheapish.

I will explain air under the ashes causes full on flames going straight up the chimney even if you slow it down that chimney will draw more air than you think as it starts to pull on the air under the ashes

primary air above stops the chimney pulling as mush as it pulls from the room

secondary air gives a smokeless smoke as its preheated air entering the stove and going straight up the chimney

first build rocket burner

I like a wood stove myself but i wanted economy with wood, definate smokeless hence the reason why i went down a rocket stove build

no wood stove can match the rocket stoves economy with wood or the output it makes from it as it has 2 burn chambers not one like a normal wood stove

just one problem with it as its larger than a normal stove but you do get 1000f+ from the first firebox and 1000f+ from the vortex chamber for 2hrs+ from a firebox size of 10x10x10 it cooks me out of an 11ft x 10ft shed

old stoves use both primary air and air under the ashes for quick fire of the stove yours is missing the primary air to get that srill holes above your door and weld a thick plate behind it with a 10cm gap and you need it long enough to the door opening as this will flow heated air down over your glass keeping it clean as the glass will turn black

your top plate is at the right point for the baffle plate before going back to the chimney port at the rear and your secondary air fits below this plate

if you use secondary air you need to fire it at an angle dont fire it at the sides so you need to drill a hole at the point of the tube you need to drill right at the edge on the corner of the tube to fire it at an angle if not you will damage the sides of your stove

Gas cylinder stove

The head of a coach bolt or roofing bolt can be handy in door catches. You can use the thread to adjust the tightness and the radius of the bolt head gives a nice action if it slides across a chamfered edge onto a flat. Easy to replace if it wears out too.

i made an extra 2 chamber deflector plate on mine that you can see on the above link before it went up the chimney which puts more heat into the room than going up your chimney

Almost over the finish line...please bare in mind its a metal box that will contain a few bits of burning wood once maybe twice a year in a shed.
It was almost fun ,Original plans were ignored .
I made the door then decided it would look cool with glass so made another.. racing ahead , ordering glass n rope without giving much thought to how i was gonna fix the glass in place..
i still have to make an internal grate,and it would be pretty easy to fire brick it if i choose to. thanks.
