16 A or 32 A Industrial Plugs?

Hi folks,

I was at City Electrical Factors this afternoon and got a 32 Amp blue socket, 32 Amp blue plug and 32 Amp Isolator switch, unfortunately they didn't have a combined isolator socket ... That little lot came to a grand total of just under £31 inc VAT.

I managed to get some 6mm² T&E from stepdad that he'd kept for wiring up cookers (the older black and red colours), so that saved a few quid. The hardest part of the installation was manipulating the thick cable around the isolator switch and consumer unit, it was bloody solid...

Anyways, all that said the installation is now complete and works a treat.

I've not tried to plug in with it switched on, but I'm guessing it isn't possible. (though I may do so sometime, just out of curiosity!)

The interlocked bit means you should not be able to turn it on without the plug inserted.
