ECU connection issue, dirty fuel, so maybe injectors and and one or all the TPMS, ( wheel/tyre sensors which might also cause limp mode and no warning lights ).2015 Insignia
Serious lack of power, will not rev past 3000 rpm
No warning lights, although service due soon pops up on dash when first started
Any ideas of the first things to check?, will get it on a code reader asap

An OBD2 reader will be your friend here but whatever you do don't clear any error codes, let your workshop do this, let them see the raw codes.
Early this year cheap fuel caused my Yeti to go into limp mode but had ECU warning light, I cleared the code and now every 4th fill, E5 goes in.Doubtful on the fuel but can be checked
TPMS interesting, ran fine with a tyre low so all 4 checked, however it did run fine initially
Codes won't be cleared, it is likely it will be back at the dealers before anyone has a chance to put a reader on it
Unplug the map sensor. See if that helps.
You can have faulty Diesel injectors with no fault codes.
Does it sound like it is off one cylinder?.
Ive got the GM tech 2 diagnostic tool here if you need it, pretty sure it does those but not tried myself
bloomin non ev vehicles.

Is it not revving past 3k at standstill or when driving? If its at standstill I don't think they are supposed to rev higher so that might be red herring, the low power should throw up some codes. Get the oil pickup o-ring replaced if the car is a keeper, the youngest vehicle ever donated to us was an insignia with perfect body and dead engine for the sake of a 20p o-ring. Have you checked all the pipework under the bonnet for leaks?
