200 series tool holders

has anyone got a 200 series tool holder they could measure up for me so i can be a cheapskate and get some milled?

Is this the wedge type toolpost you are meaning? I have a drawing here for the ones I made, don't know if it is 200 size though as it was 10 yrs or more ago that I bought the toolposts.

Ok but not sure if it is a 200 or not as I am not familiar with the series. The dimensions are 100 long, 50 wide and 60 high, does that sound right

possibly, the 200 takes up to 16mm tooling i know that much

Arc Euro sell all sizes, they have basic dims on their site.

16mm holders are the same as mine=250/200 series

Arc Euro sell all sizes, they have basic dims on their site.

16mm holders are the same as mine=250/200 series

Aye I got the post from arc euro, they don't have dovetail sizes tho

Why can't you measure the dovetail on the holder?

I can, but am unsure of what sort of clearance they have for a sliding fit. If worst comes to worst I can measure it up and give it a go

Back at workshop this afternoon and mine are 300 series so definitely too big.

Regarding the dovetail, I just measured one of the holders, no need to worry about clearances if you make it the same as that.

I don't have any holders at the mo to measure off, only the post itself. I'm trying to be a cheapest and not have to spend anything on a holder

Ah Ok, thought they all came with 2 or 3 holders.
Hopefully someone else with the right size can help you out.

My apologies - mine are 250 size. I got confused because the main tool post is 250-200. The holders are 250-201, 250-202 etc.

The two common piston type tool posts are 250-100 and 250-200. The wedge type, which use the same tool holders are 250-111 and 250-211
