It's normally like that up here but last night was surprisingly quiet .

One of my curses is being a light sleeper but I didn't hear anything last night. A bottle of 19 Crimes helped but even so the usual "Let's see the New Year in with a broadside of 16" shells" was very muted.

It was like Kabul round here last night....continuous fireworks for about 30 mins

Stayed up to see the show in London but all the BBC showed was Big Ben covered in scaffolding.......this morning they are reporting on the show last night

I managed to miss New Year this year: was asleep by 11:00 and did not even have a dram.

So leg of lamb in the oven and will nip up to the cemetery this morning to give my mum and friends and relatives a wee dram for 2021.

You didn't miss much, no mixing with other people or anything, it was as flat as a witches chest. Someone here ventured out and let off a few fireworks, that was it.
