sprays like any other primer 2.0 will be okay

yes you can go straight over , id suggest you let it sit an hour before the top coat

Lets not forget this is with the winter hardener.

I used the summer hardener which gave me some lead time. Jotun advised me to paint the second coat a day after with summer version. Then wait 24 hours for the top coat.

Check this tech page for drying and recoat times and decide for your self which is best.

yep id still reccomend winter hardner for uk weather unless you have tropical heat where you live , the winter one still goes off slower than proper automotive products and i dont need it to take days to cure

I take it the surface has to be taken back to clean bare metal? Also is it best to apply seam sealer after the coats of epoxy or before

Scratch the cured surface of the Jotun where the PU sealant will go, if thats the stuff you are using. Apply it after its fully cured but before the top coat paint, if thats what you are using.

Check my thread out for more info mate, try get it as clean as possible, score the metal surface well. This paint is surface tolerant so a little rust will be ok, although the cleaner the better.

As for the winter grade, for me i didnt have much time to recoat the same day so it's another reason i went or the summer grade. Summer grade has a minimum of 10 degrees so not so much tropical temps, just more lead and pot use time.
