That would be a flan. Co-op does some nice pizzas. We have a local pizza hut and often see the staff buying loads from Iceland, still in their uniform.

That’s one way to get a decent pizza, cut out the middle man and probably save a tenner per pizza.

Don't Americans often refer to "Pizza Pie"? I wonder if that's what the photo is, a particularly deep pizza, or whether they refer to all pizzas thus.

I was in Iceland the other day and noticed that their "Scarily Spicy" pizza is back in stock. I initially thought they must have just found some stock somewhere and shoved it out, but realised later that it's September now, so of course the Halloween tie-in pizza will be back on the shelf, though I didn't see any last year. I bought one, even though in all honesty they're a bit too spicy for me. Not certain whether to have it for tea, or cook it on the night and leave it out for the trick or treaters.

Well, I've just had it for tea. It's a shadow of it's former self, the box says "New Recipe" and it's just a lot less spicy than it was. Last time I had one, I had to leave it to cool down before eating it, and I'd still want a glass of water on hand because my lips would be burning. This one is a nice spicy pizza for £2.50, but it doesn't hurt any more, I guess in that way it's better. You'd probably get more spice from their stuffed crust "American Hottest" that I mentioned a while back, but I didn't like that when I tried on - all spice, no flavour. Back to alternating between the Aldi American Hot and the Iceland Chilli Dog, I think.
FTFYOh, that's a shame. I must admit it was probably the hottest thing I've ever eaten in my life but I sort of enjoyed it in a masochistic way.

My local Sainsbury's used to have a pizza counter where they would make them to order. Great service and a great price too. Sadly gone 
(the counter, niot Sainsbury's).
Still, on the upside, it is pizza night tonight so loking forward to whatever Mrs RWD brings home to go with the garlic bread and bottle of Sauvignon Blanc sitting in the fridge!

The garlic bread is so so.
The pizza that do is great.
The own brand deep pan is very tasty.

I can recommend these from Iceland. £3.50 isn't cheap for a smallish pizza but they are often on offer in store.

This might be the case, as they're not on the Iceland web site. I wanted to see if anyone had reviewed the new recipe and agreed with me, or whether I just got a dodgy one.

Our local pub has food vans a couple of times a week , one of them is Gino’s pizzas . Highly recommended
About 20 years ago the in laws took us all to Venice to visit family, (distant but still family) We stayed in the hosts farmhouse on St Erasmo, one memorable weekend they all came over & we had a feast. we collected driftwood for the pizza oven from the shore of the island & It had to be just the right timber.
The girls made the dough & everything was grown or caught on the island or nearby.
A beautiful sunny warm & still late september evening with the sun going down over the lagoon,Must have been about 20 of us grandparents, parents & kids, Wine, more wine & pizza to die for.
Funny but i never ate pizza like that to this day!
