You can easily see the desing was inpsired by somepone taking 2 pump jacks, welded to a farm wagon running gear.We dont have anything like that over here (UK)

Yes, I think allot has to do with harness tie off point.yours is different to ours
its got so bad here you need scaffolding just to fit an aeriel up on your chimney when most of the time a ladder and roof ladder was ample enough tied up of coarse its those idiots that never tied up that caused the problem in the first place
anything above 1 storey needs scaffolding either h frame or proper scaffolding here industrial sites tend to use the wheeled scissor lift

Do you have to climb the ladder first to tie it off at the top ?
..and you probably shinnied up and down the pole to go to lunch....For a number of years I worked off wood pole scaffolding lashed mostly with chains, I just wouldn't happen now.
