**Language** i just like burning stuff

im not burning it wrong, so im happy. i have to selective with my time, im actually not going to live too much longer. we all die, its not sad, its just a fact. So i have to be selective. Right now its all CNC machines, there is a lot to learn in that domain.

No... that's not correct, there is a stupendously huge amount to learn in that domain.

i work in computer science - again, an average person could learn every day for 50 years and still not get it all.

there is too much to learn. i only have so much time.

If you are a scientist, you know how to fast read, and grasp what matters the most.

What takes time is the welding hours necessary to implement the gesture and sensations.

But no one is obliged to learn to weld as a pro, simply watching pros showing how they do is inspiring.

Personally I prefer to learn to weld correctly with stick, (for most common situations I mean) and if it happens that I need to use mig or tig, I think I will have some base to learn from.

I am interested in watching how to weld vertical, because i need to do that. I actually need to do it, so thats motivation.

I have been having success with downhill vertical, but uphill escapes me, i need to apply myself and figure it out.

vert up was also my primar interest, so I trained a lot to do vertical up on flat and in corners, but at some point I realized I'd better go "back" to flat , horizontal, then again to vertical, and then, things begin to be easier.

basically Z or (preferably for me) some flat "U's' " allow to raise and to build a bead. IT can be done without weaving too but to join metal, I think it is less efficient, too small, and no anchorage points on each side. angle 80, heat lowered so the weld do not drip in drops
