Advice please on an extrusion problem, E3 V2.

I ordered a servo which the delivery driver has lost. However I did replace the motherboard to no avail. I noticed that the response from the servo gradually reduces until it does nothing. I think it is a duff servo but will have to wait another day to test it.

Swap servos around and see if fault follows? Assuming of course that they're interchangeable.
I use Repetier Host/Firmware and Prusaslicer and made the mistake of allowing it to update config and I had issues. Have you changed any of the client software? No recent updates?

No, even previous creations on the SD card have the same issue.

Now I am battling with a crashed PC as well. Lost the boot manager's BCD files apparently and it appears that I have to re-install and lose all my installed programs.

I suspect it might have happened via a virus from the Creality download site. The firmware I downloaded was Chinese language and when I went back to look again, it had died.

Well I seem to be back on, thanks to a utility package that I found on the internet. It is called Lazesoft and frankly I thought it was going to be snake oil. Thankfully all I had to do was tell it to "repair in one click" and it was sorted! Very chuffed. Here it is... I am now going to buy it because it has saved me so much trouble and then I will also use their backup. Acronis True Image 2019 cannot see my M2 Drive C: and I am told it is too old to do so.

The printer issue is also repaired now. The problem was a broken wire inside the insulation right at the servo connector pin. Whilst testing with a new servo, I noticed a tiny spark which drew my eye to it.
