That incomer to my eyes looks more like 1.5mm2 than 2.5mm2....

You was right mate it was 1.5mm, have to pull out the cable from conduit to see it

I have just read through the thread and was going to say 'there is something missing'
Hopefully you broke out the green and yellow sleeving when you fitted the line bus bar.

Finally rain stops so I done today a test, new consumer unit, 2.5mm cabels, 16a socket + plug all connected but still not working what I done wrong?

Its not connected thats whats wrong !!

edit ------Ah only got to the pictures of the breaker box
You would need a very high voltage supply for it to jump that gap
then that voltage once its jumped that far would probably damage the motor once running IMO

another mistake your using the black wire for the neutral. u should use the grey and mark it with blue tape and use the black as the earth and mark that with green and yellow tape here https://www.google.co.uk/search?sit...1.64.psy-ab..2.18.1483.0..0i131k1.ht3-_ITCg8g black becomes a live

just to add u need to use a gland kit on end of armoured cable using the earth ring and a bit of earth wire to bond the outer steel armour as well as use the 3d core for earthling

Thank you all for help, gland kit, earthing, sleeving, all will be done when consumer unit going to the shed, this is was only a test.

another mistake your using the black wire for the neutral.

Brown = Live
Grey = Neutral
Black = CPC

niglon ones are rubbish, tower/schneider make better glands

I have Tower gland kit 20 not 20s it's still unopened should I return it and take 20s?
