There are some with manual drains others have a float ,so when the bowl fills with water the float rises allowing water to be blown out of the push fitting in the bottom,wash and blow out anything in the bottom of the bowl,if there's no valve in the bowl ,then a valve can be used on the drain pipe to manually drain,subject to someone remembering
