Doesn't say what diameter it is, though - I prefer 10mm over 8mm lines

I have my eyes on a body saw as well.
The compressors, even though they are TUV approved are chinese made. I have 2 and both get used every day and are perfectly adequate for the serious diyer.
The hvlp spray guns are excellent and I might get another one of these. I also have a kestrel gun that is virtually identical to the lidl one and probably came from the same factory but is 5 times the price!
The hose reel is probably 6mm id but is is ok for most things. I have one wall mounted with the centre connection modified so that it swivels. I use it with a sander, a drill, spray gun and it provides enough air for those. Sometimes when you get a really tight nut the impact gun struggles so I either break out the 10mm hose or use a breaker bar.

Good idea, what did you use to mod it? I am thinking mount a quich release to the end panel if it was not free to rotate you can always disconnect before un-winding / winding back on to the reel.
Here's some pics of my modified Lidl air hose reel.
I drilled a hole in a piece of flat steel and tacked a PCL nipple into it. I fixed that into the centre piece of the hose reel & attached the inner end of the hose to it.
I fitted a 90 deg elbow and a PCL connector to the supply hose from the compressor. I lubricated the fitting with red rubber grease and connected it to the modified fitting on the hose reel. This acts as your swivel and will rotate under pressure no problem.
What are those needle scalers to use?

Used to take rust and scale of heavy steel sections or to scarify (roughen the surface) of concrete.
They do an excellent job but it's a slow process, I used one to clean up the chassis on my Ford D Series 16 tonner before painting. I didn't want to sand blast as I would have had to strip the lorry down completely to stop the sand getting everywhere.
The needle scaler worked well but it took me 4 days to do the whole chassis inside and out.
I made the mistake of going into Aldi and picked one of those up, another impulse buy (My name is Anjum and I am an addict, I must not not go into tool stores, I must not go into tool stores) !!!! Haven't used it yet but it felt nice and light......another possibly useful tool. I need to enquire where replacement blades are available from.

I struggled to buy blades for a similar saw sold by Lidl. In the end simply contacted Lidl who put me in touch with the supplier in Germany by email who had what I wanted so bought 3 at £15 inc P&P.

I have a Clarke one I use to scare rusty cars with, soon locates the good metal and expands small holes into much bigger jobs.

Yup about 5 mins after getting in the Workshop.
Cuts 2mm steel sheet no problem. nice clean cut.

Very true!
When you manage to find the specs of them they're frequently sub 250 ftlb's - unlike my 1200 ftlb beast!

Bloke I work with used to work for Aldi in the warehouse and they get more money for sending stuff back than for actually selling it which is why they don't care about breakage and returns.
