Aldi filter/oiler combo

It's the hose size then that's the issue. I have a 1" windy gun that I run off 3/4" hose of significant length - 50 foot I think - same hose that I use for my Hodge Clemco 75kG blast pot, and sometimes it gets extended by another ?50? foot length if at the far end of the farmyard.

i just use a mini oiler, ive put quick fittings on both ends...
just plug it into the end of the airline then plug the tool into the mini oiler.
it oils the tool as you use it.
but you don't end up with oil in your airline.

split it apart and just use the filter regulator and bin the oiler there a waste of time .just 3 drops of oil in the tool before use is suficient

Exactly. I bought one of these earlier this year cos it was going for a tenner and it was cheaper than buying a water filter on its own.
I've never used the oiler bit, just leave it empty and use it as a filter.

I took both sets back to Aldi, they gave me a refund for one and then gave me the receipt back and told me to call the number on the box to get the other one refunded.

The disappointing thing was I thought I had paid £15 for it but the receipt was for only £6.99 as it was on sale and I didn't notice.

My original filter is now back on the wall.
