aldi metal paint in stores again

It appears thin on first coat (also dries quite dull) but second coat it comes out in a gloss and certainly protects the metal. I've used it to paint previously quite rusty steel tanks and it does this a treat (after stripping the rust back with a wire disc in a grinder).

Lots in the Oxford store. I got one green and one silver - now I'm thinking I should have got more! Will hopefully try it tomorrow on an old vice...

It variea a bit with the specials, sometimes some stores don't have it or they only have part of it, sometimes they are gone very quickly, but another store may have them still and sometimes they are hanging around for weeks.

Also, as with the paint, they've cheap and often well worth buying, but they're not the tremendous bargains they were five or six years ago.

I think that the store at Bridlington must have only had a few tins for sale, that's what you get if you live in a one horse town.

That's what happened to me first time around. I though "how good can it be at this price" and got a couple of black. Painted a rusting BBQ and two steel engine oil tanks and regretted not getting more - been waiting for more to turn up ever since
