Small bead rollers (will go down to 16mm id) are available from Ebay for £75. Looks like pretty much exactly the same thing advertised by UK sellers for £200, so worth taking a chance on the £75 ones from China I guess?
Larger bead rollers can be modified to take smaller dia rolls, but not sure thats a great idea, and possibly the £75 Chinese will be good for occasional jobs?
Alternative and possibly the best option for anyone needing to do a single size of pipe is here: http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/accessories/tools/beadingtools.html
Do those Earls things actually work? I don't doubt they're capable of producing a circumfrential bump in annealed 1mm wall ally tube but a 'proper' well formed hose retention bead? In 1.5mm wall ally or 0.8 - 1mm wall carbon & stainless steel? Might be very wrong but i've always viewed them like those cheapnese exhaust expanding tools that are an utter waste of money

Same question what stops it just swelling and distorting the pipe.
A split form for the outside would be a neat solution.I send one once and you need to sneak up in steps, I never bothered again
