Can I ask what you use as a ‘wax’?
I’ve been using beeswax and boiled linseed oil. But not been very successful with it.

I’ve been using beeswax and boiled linseed oil. But not been very successful with it.

Melt the wax add the linseed oil.
As it cools add white spirit.
You want it to end up like a butter.

Hard wax use more wax.
Soft wax more oil.


Heat the metal and apply.
Buff up.
