I was the same ,,, but the Mac geared one is a game changer .

Iv got the mac tools one, costly but worth it, not used everyday but worth it's weight in gold sometimes. I use the milwaukee bimetal blades most of the time if I'm just hacking away, but abit neater i use a regular hacksaw blade cut in half or more at other times

OK so I got the new air saw and tried it out
The one on the left.
It is very good. Quite quiet in operation too. I tested it on scrap car sheetmetal and it cut through it nicely. And also can cut near the tip of the blade and not shake or anything. Perfect for my planned work of rust repairs in cars to have another method of cutting sheetmetal in hard to reach areas.
Recommended.
For me I will be buying the small purpose made blades for this saw which suits my intended use better. (VS cutting down regular large hacksaw blades)

Was using my air saw saw last night in a tight corner.
I don't have anything else that would have got in here except maybe a pad saw and this was far quicker.
Plasma might have done it but would have taken longer to set up and to clean up the cuts after.
Started the cut with my smallest grinder but that only got me half way.
Perfect tool for the job, it's seems to be an earlier version of yours, about 30 years earlier and still going strong.
I don't have anything else that would have got in here except maybe a pad saw and this was far quicker.

I've got one and used it fairly regularly until I got a cordless rip saw and just got some hacksaw blades for that.
Main use was cutting sized bolts out of suspension are bushes.
I've got tied of doing that though. Now I just buy complete new arms and the bolt kit.
Old arms get chopped up with the plasma or the 9" until I have enough access to get the 9" onto the bolt.
Did 4 arms on a disco a couple of weeks ago that way, took under 4hrs and that was doing it on the floor!
