Anybody know if the Iwata LPH400 is the same as the W400?

I was told that the LPH400 is the USA name of the W400?

Just realised this(if it's true) after buying an LPH400 from the states-but it seems you can't get the same air caps here as the one in the states..(LVB,LVX,LVC)or are do they have different names as well?

The lph-400 is supposed to be LVLP(even though i says hvlp on the web).

Spray guns direct told me the w400 is the lph400- hoping thats not true.

I took it that the W400 is a compliant gun with an LV2 air cap, the other a Low Pressure High vol - 400

yes I think your right-the lph400-lvb is an amazing gun-much better than the w400 with a lv2 cap.

There's hardly any over spray and the finish is a little more even. It's really easy to spray metallics with it.

It seems so-I have both-got the w400 cheap on ebay with a 1mm tip,I'll try and find out about the internals.

had some nasty/mental dealings with people on ebay recently. God knows what they've been spraying through it to damage it

This guy is selling a 1.2 tip and nozzle and is also selling lv2 air caps as well they are supposed to be new:

what colour is your air cap?

you'll find some cheap nozzles/caps will rust on you.
how can you amazing,with out trying it.
as for very little overspray,time will tell.

No colour, just chromed brass I would say. lv2
