the brake disk should just split from the hub from behind once off.
done bearings on mk6s which i think is the same setup, they just changed the cosmetics. 6-7
throw it on a fire knock it out with a hammer socket/blocks of metal (one that fits the bevel so you're not twatting the edge), chisel ect for the outside . hacksaw the inner race off diagonally.
you can press the new one in using the old bearing in a vice

The wheel flange presses into the bearing, same as all other Transits of that era, although somebody has used the wrong type of bolts in the photo Bob posted (should be a flanged 13mm headed bolt)

Some snaps, disc pcd is as per brembo drawing. bearing pcd is smaller. hubs have to be split to get the discs off but they will come past the bearing carrier , if the carrier torx bolts actually come out ( rare) the disc can be changed without disturbing the bearing
I did have a thought earlier (usually pretty dangerous!) and I'll have to find a Transit to double check, but I think the 2014+ the bearing bolt holes aren't drilled all the way through the hub, so they aren't as likely to corrode in and cause problems.
I've only ever stripped one of the torx bolts, but then I always clean them out and break them away.
Our resident brake specialist was forever having to drill them out, as he was too lazy to break them away and just gunned them.

That was a the wrong disc I pulled from the store James, the bearing pcd is the same as the disc.
The trouble with pushing the hub out of the bearing from behind is the outer will seperated from the housing, not so sure you would ever get the seal and bearing back together.
I put the hot spanner on the casting and remove the torx head bolts
Remove disc from hub which makes it easy to press out the bearing
Attack outer bearing with the hot spanner
Bolt new bearing to upright.
Bolt new disc to hub
Press in bearing
Job done.

It seems like it when you first do one but its pretty straight forward when you have done a few, its only about an hours work to fit a new disc and bearing to the hub which isnt too bad.

Its not that bad, you dont need any of those special tools. You can attach an old hub nut to a decent slide hammer, undo the five torx bolts holding the bearing to the upright, attach the slide hammer to the remaining threads of the stub shaft and slide hammer the whole thing out of the upright.You can then swap out a disc in minutes without touching/disturbing the bearing , I only take the uprights off because I cant be arsed to grovel about on the floor.

That’s an interesting way of doing it.
Sort of using the stub shaft as th removal tool, if you will?
I use a (38mm I think) socket and knock the whole lot out from behind. It works well but I know one time I’m going to miss and swipe something important which is why I was looking at making the tool.
Most of my customers are ‘end of life users’ which means by the time I work on things they are a rusty mess and things need persuading to come apart. If I can avoid fire and violence it is good as I ojbject to charging
Someone for a wheel bearing just to do brake disks.
