Ive just looked up the auction details, and they were indeed listed as Hino 700 mirrors.
Also....
The other mirror has an additional connector on the end of its loom (ie another plug before the wire is cut)
This has more wires, but 2 are not connected.
Here are the colours -
(first is the additional loom, second is the wire on the mirror that it connects to)
White with Red stripe > Red
Blue with Yellow stripe > Yellow
Blue > Orange
2nd White with Red Stripe > not connected
Black > Black
Black with Blue stripe > Green
Black > not connected
Ive googled, and i cant (yet) find a hino 700 wiring schematic, however, i suspect, with this additional information, the hino schematic would conclusively determine what should be going on.
I hooked the loom up to a 12v battery, and, sure enough, the motors in both sets of mirrors work, exactly as wookie suggested.
Im not sure about the heater element yet, but im not too bothered by that anyhow, but the motors are a massive bonus, given that im due to fit these to a LHD vehicle.

So, now that ive got the electrics sorted, i held up the mirror to the landrover and its not ideal..
I was going by this photo -
Which looks a bit wrong, but bare in mind that mine is a hard boddied -
(notice the tape wound around the original mirror to try and make it work!)
And that the body sticks out behind the cab -
Anyway, going by the photo id seen of a 101 fitted with Mercedes Actros arms, i was hoping to be ok with these, but the issue is that the main mirror hangs so low. I need to get someone to hold them whilst i take a photo really.
Id be tempted to loose the blind spot mirror, however, as the arms have a bend in them, i could not move the main mirror up anyway.
Another option may be to mount them up-side-down and (probably) left to right, but then theres probably not room on the top of the window frame or the larger attatchment.
Ill have a look to see if the ends come off, but, failing that, im guessing a replacement set of mirror arms, unless, possibly, the tube can be straightened.
The truck is not the easiest to drive. Its LHD, and you end up looking through the cab, through a window at a tiny mirror that's generally pointing in the wrong direction, or vibrating so much its all wrong anyhow. Throw in some rain on both set of glass (and my own glasses, as the doors dont seal properly!) and make it night time, and youre screwed.
There's also those left hand turns which you have to approach all wrong, so as to be able to see right, and then someone ignores your indicators, and thinks youre turning right, and tries to squeeze up the inside.
So the plan is some mirrors that stay where you put them, and, thanks to this thread, will be adjustable from inside the cab anyhow, and some cameras for the slower speed manovers - which is why i dont mind loosing the blind spot mirror too much.
It might be that i just need to get some new arms, without the bend, and move the main mirror up higher, but i cant find a single arm that's not more money than i paid for the whole set!
