From the photos you appear to be welding for a job and so my response is based on you being a proffessional welder and not a hobbyist (no offence guys)
The vertical run on plate (think it is supposed to represent a butt joint) would fail a weld test on visual examination alone, strike marks all over the plate, inconsistent reinforcement, reinforcement looks too high, undercut, poor re start, the list goes on
As for the welds on the manifold, bit far away to see too much but the circ seams look to be wandering about all over the place but that could just be down to the photograph
