I was thinking of going to the Whitewebbs Museum jumble today but the rain AND ulez put me off.

I wouldn’t like to count up what we have spent just attending, but we usually meet some friends and have a laugh more of a day out really. I rarely buy consumables locally so we do make a good saving on stuff we buy to use ourselves. Spent £100 on spray cans at the last one we attended but realistically it would have been more than double in the local shops. I feel if you are looking for one specific thing then you might struggle. Go with an open mind and you can get all sorts of useful stuff usually cheaper. Once bought a motor bike at a jumble miles from home and then had to find someone to take it home I should know better as it’s happened a few times

i bought a harison lathe from ruffoth autojumble well cheap and in good nick 400 quid including the 4 jaw chuck. just had to pick it up from bradford with me van and trailer a guy offered me 600 if i sold it to him . the dealer said he could have sold it for a lot more. a fair few wanted it
