I bought a lid from starparts at around £60 (Wilkinson star products) its called the' V1 Plus'. That also has a cartridge solar panel.
My advice is, If you can afford any of these Auto welding lids buy the best you can afford. I wouldn't be without mine. It free's up your hand and allows you to work with a live torch right on the joint with the lid down so avoiding welding just off the joint Improving neatness and grind time. they also help visually when you are learning to recconise the bead structure
