You can get a poor but very neat crimp from a ratcheting tool as the correct pressure setting is essential for the crimp being used in comparison to wire size. While the insulation can be firmly held and the completed crimp feels firm, the stripped end can be loose giving a poor connection. If too tight the crimp can fail with movement by being partially chopped through.

Well I finally got this

Same as vehicle wiring one but got off eBay from auto star seller (good seller used them fair bit now) they work a treat and make nice neat crimps

Morning all. I know there is a few automotive wording people around well I have a tool question.

I'm after a crimping tool for terminals View attachment 33173

My current method of pliers isn't consistent and struggle to do them properly with the cheep general use automotive ones.

Would like links to ratchet type (not paying vehicle wiring products money) but I do use a fair bit so happy to pay a bit
