From memory: Ford OE seals come a lip on them to seat them - and FEBI - Elring ones don't.

If the buggers won't fix it, throw some Moly-lube in the box if it's a manual.I have just washed the van, cleaned the crud and oil off the bottom of the gearbox best i can.
Took for a drive. Somewhat quieter, gear change much smoother. Still whining though about 50.

Are you able to see what gearbox my van has on any of your parts/autodata software?
I believe it's known as the ZAC gearbox.
