I think it's the fact that it's not symmetrical either side of the central basket that makes it look odd.
I think what the others are saying, is from the central basket going right could have gone, double collar then twist, double collar then twist, double collar then twist, last double collar then basket.
The middle basket is central being 9 from each end, so just lends it self to a mirror format from that point. That way even if turned upside down it would be the same.

It depends on the weight your taking in that load and if you want transport.So do you pay 50p per kg for galv and is that with Pillar Wedge? I get charged 64p!
