Back when I was fixing wagons and cranes we had a dedicated room for charging batteries, refilling them etc, it had a huge extraction hood, a table and a wall mounted charger, rubber elbow length gloves and it stank of acid, it was like some kind of torture chamber, spent as little time in there as possible.
Wasn't too bothered about much on trucks, lifting out engines, gearboxes on the gantry crane etc, most of a truck can easily kill you, but really didn't like the tyres or batteries.
