Bending aluminium bar

So do you need 1 or 2 rings made, (275mm internal and 330mm external ring)???

I am trying to make this shaped spacer.
I was going to bend the 16x16mm circles then cut it into 2 sections. The front piece I was going to make from 16x5 flat bar.

Or, I could get it laser cut from plate, in which case it's basically 2 non concentric circles (dotted line) with an extra bit cut out the front

He is wishing to roll 16mm square aluminium. I fear it will exceed the capacity of the machine.

Bought a new blow torch as my old one is rubbish.
Marking the aluminium with Sharpe, heating till it disappears, then quenching, dies seem to anneal it enough to bend it.

I'm wedging it between my pillar drill table and the pillar and wrapping it round the table.
A little tweaking as I go in the vice and it seems I'm getting somewhere.

Nice, smooth, rolled aluminium with no surface marks it isn't. But I should be able to make what I need.

I'll make the thin front piece now then decide if I bond/bolt them together, weld them (means buying argon and a new disposable reg), or try those alloy brazing rod things.

I have a piece of 50mx8mm bar I wanted to bend smoothly for a project - it's sat in the garage for about 8 years now waiting for me to work out how - and you've just provided the answer. Thanks @GraemeVW
- and it will return to 'full strength' in a few days without doing anything else?

It returns to strength once bent. I imagine any remaining soft spots will harden shortly.
It feels no softer now than it did before hand.
I just did the thin bar bit for the front, that's about 5mm thick. Once annealed it was very easy to bend by hand.
The thick piece, I tried to anneal half of it at a time but it didn't quite work so I annealed and bent it in 200mm sections.
