Best helmet £100

Anyone know if the Rtech speedmaster XL is CE / ANSI marked or is it a rebadged Chinese version? That said guess anyone can print CE on something!?
Just want to make sure it is up to spec given that its there to protect my eyes!

I would be very surprised if R-tech sold anything that was not correctly marked. But here

Cheers, that answers my Q. Only reason i questioned it is lot of other helmets show a pic with the approval or mention it in the spec but couldn't see anything in the Rtec page (could of missed it though!)

I've been using my R-TECH XL for a wile and never had a flash its a good helmet

Cheers only thing I noticed is the lense looks a bit more vulnerable than some others that are recessed, I rarely weld at a bench mostly under cars so it would have a hard life. Does it stand up ok to knocks, I have in the past misjudged where the sill is on my way back up and bashed me head!

I'v got one of those R-Tech jobbies too. Had two cartridges pack up on me, given up with the thing now. I find it lets way too much light in through the back too, around my head. The reflection is so distracting I ended up trying to bodge a rag on the back of it to stop it...
I have the Weldability one before and it was much better, unfortunately I dropped it and and busted the cartridge....

If you can stretch to another £5, I can highly recommend the Phantom XL.
Been using one for sometime now and I prefer it to the last few I have had.
