I’ll test that later. It’s handy having the ability to set the power as well though. As I say, at mid stroke the other day it stopped on a small drill I had on the floor, didn’t scratch the paint or anything, it just seemingly stopped dead, I thought it broke. Thankfully not.

That’s it. That’s kind of how I looked at it but the factors messed with my head. Especially the opening 110deg. I tried but just didn’t know what I was doing. I’m yet to see any others open to 110deg, probably are around but they only seem to open 90.
He is very good to be fair to him. Said it was hard but had it nearly there in an hour and a little bit of adjusting and I got it. Originally it I think didn’t open fully and didn’t close fully. So I thought about it and came to the conclusion that if that’s almost right both ends the initial stroke on the longer arm needs to be shorter moving it in and out quicker. I trialled moving it in by just about 15mm on the wood template and I fitted an adjustment thing I made for the small arm. Then it got better so I moved it again by maybe 20mm this time and I think by the third time I had it perfect. Here’s the four holes. When the gate is open the ping bar connects to the top four hole area. So as I say, with the hole moved in the bar stroke shortened which brings it in and out quicker. This makes sense in my head but it’s hard to put It into words haha.
