Hi all

I started making pond covers a few years ago and started with spiderwebs, the more things grew the less profitable they became because of how hard they are to make, so the designs evolved and the orders for the spiderwebs stopped until a few months ago when I got an order for a special one, the saggy spiderweb. its just about finished. I'll hopefully get it to the painters later today. I finished the spiders with it yesterday and thought I'd share some of the pics

Its 16 swg mild steel and 4mm bar. I made the skeleton from bar and the cladded it, took a long time but I love how it came out

Thanks Strube! these are the best I've ever done, you see the one with the plain bar abdomen? thats how I usually make them, I just wanted to do a special one, I need to improve my sculpting so have decided to put more effort into everything now!
