Blasting alloy rims?

The grit is brand new and its the first time trough the pot. The pot is 100l copressor tank with half inc. pipe in to a 4mm carbide nozzle. The pot is getting air from a 1000l
tank that has a water separator on the inlet. another separator/regulator runs over to the blast pot.

When i look down the filling hole in the pot, its like its sucking a hole in the media. Its likely moisture

I've seen marker pen show through poor quality powder coating (even though the pen marks had been blasted off).

Marker pens were banned from one of the places I worked at, for that very reason.

I folded up a load of cappings and closure boxes for some roller shutters in a school kitchen, marker pen all over them, then well cleaned with thinners.
Powdercoated white and it showed through as if it was written over the top of the powdercoat.

Same in car paintshops, have to use a type of drywipe marker that thinners removes, permanent marker could affect the paint finish.
