In an effort to make my slip ons last beyond 2 months,my workman suggested external steel caps,these were scavenged from an old pair and evo stuck on,problem is,with a lack of flexibility and bad back I kneel down a lot,wearing the toes prematurely,then they leak as soon as I walk through wet grass

Where I did my apprenticeship was known for practical jokes. One a guy working in a large hopper (kneeling down welding seams) had his external steel toe caps welded to the hopper. He was still wearing them...
