Boots??

Been looking into a pair of these for welding no laces to burn through

I wonder what that material wound stand up like when exposed to some molten metal or a sump of slag.
I tend to live in rigger boots dry, and everything just bounces off no stitching or laces.

Not to sure Chris haven't read any reviews on them yet I wear dealer boots myself was thinking of a bit of ankle support,

I would imagine that welding sparks would burn through that material! I made the mistake of buying a pair of Dickies boots with that kind of material in the tongue. First time I used them for welding a piece of hot slag burned straight through the tongue, my sock & by the time I had removed the boot it had burned my foot as well!

Now I only wear all leather boots for welding, it's the only material that will resist the hot metal!

Well can safely say, they are like a pair of slippers. No more ache-ing heels
