I sometimes go over the top with my ideas Snowie, hired a wee mini digger when I realized I required this job complete this century

Plus spinning the plates manufacturing stairs!

Digger was good fun tho.

Only sometimes OTT, I was having a look to see if I could find the pics of my pond construction, but I think it must have been on my old hard drive when that died.. luckily I can beg borrow steal and barter plant, So I got a 3ton machine a dug one almighty hole...It's always amazes me with the grace some of those guys can drive those machines with, particular the big machines....Im not quite so handy....

Peter51 and rtbcomp, many thanks for the advice for converting picture I have in word doc format to a picture that I will be able upload, I'll look into this tomorrow, been a rather busy and long day!

rtb, cracking front grill viewed in the link you suppled on this thread, very creative and, good use of what would basically be scrap!

Snowcat, I have watching a new Sainsbury store commencing with groundworks to a pretty close completion, have to agree, it is amazing to watch these various machine operators go about their business digging/shifting soil around to the end result, I reckon I could do some very serious damage at the controls of a three tonner

Print Scrn doesn't do anything on mine, Windows XP SP2.

hey wen you try Print Scrn again open paint and go to edit and hit "paste"

there you go.

If you hit Alt-PrtScrn it will only copy the active window to the clipboard.

Do you have one of those funny/stupid keyboards where the function key row doubles as a second set. Might be sending SysRq instead of printscrn to the keyboard handler if so...

On my microsoft one, I have to press the F lock light and a little light illuminates to tell me that Im locked into the normal behaviour instead of all the keys that I use combo's for anyway (spell, fwd etc). The maddening thing is it defaults to the stupid sets and I have to remember to press the button every boot. And to make it worse, one of the kvm switching keys i need is on one mode, and the other on the other. ARRGGG If microsoft natural keyboards weren't so good, I'd bin it on that feature alone.

Nothing particularly jumps out at me Snowy but.....here's some interesting stuff. Now I really have got some inspiration, wish I hadn't used the rim of the base for tig practice!

It's way beyond my capabilities but check out the quality of this stuff.

Some intricate work there, Iv been shown how to mark out and form some basic shapes in copper, but really its a skill thats way beyond me, and I only have so much Patience for hitting something with a multitude of hammers.......


Yep, Iv got the same inspiration to get on with me big S/S creation.... gona be all geometric shapes, and TIG'd together, I can cope with that.......

If you want a laugh have a look how much the guys are charging for this....... probably only a bit of old molly as well.....

Troublesome shoes discussed earlier, steel sheet bottom half copper fused around sole edge, top, copper of course, not a great image due to much phaffing about
