Bought empty Argon bottle!

Id ring round, prices vary from place to place. Last I looked the 300bar hobby weld was slightly cheaper per litre. Gonna have to bite the bullet soon as my Im about finished my unofficial air products bottle and that supply has dried up

For upto 20l possibly 30l? bottles it might be worth taking a set of bathroom scales with you to the depot. I can usually judge a 50l bare hug lifting to how full it is to a certain extent. (full barely lift it off the ground, empty can get it up a few inches)

SGS bottles are 10l, 20l, 30l & 50l if you need any more info contact @Agautosport on the forum - he owns SGS!

SGS has got back to me with the sizes no mention if they can put it on their website hopefully they will

10L 77cm tall 16cm diameter
20L 95cm tall, 23cm diameter
30L 115cm tall, 26cm diameter
50L 156cm tall, 26cm diameter

I phoned Hobbyweld on Wednesday regarding the empty tig bottle
they said phone where you got it from
which I have although I've had it maybe 2 or 3months no date on paperwork but he did remember me as he was saying how he could never tig weld and gave up trying this company are a welding supply
they are more than happy to replace the bottle should have gone to day run out of time will be there Monday

When I tried to get my first bottle of TIG gas of them they had been waiting five weeks for a Hobbyweld delivery I didn't phone them for ages so not sure how long it took Hobbyweld to deliver that's a joke

I might use the SGS next time as they are 10 minutes down the road
the place I got my tig gas is an hour round trip
