A quick Google suggests a 12.9 bolt has a shear strength of 1100n/mm2
So you'll need 345576N to break one off.
Or 176242n if you run a 14mm mag drill through it first.

Iv run a mag drill through it but won’t get the impact until tomorrow at the earliest as it’s a hire one

Thanks for the offer Matt but it’s gonna be cost prohibitive in fuel to collect it and drop it back
If the gun doesn’t shift it Iv ordered a 13, 14,15, 16mm rotabroach bits to drill it out
Worst thing is I have two more to do

I had a m8 cap head bolt stuck in a manifold before, when I tried to open it it felt like the head was going to round off before it opened. I put some loctite bearing and stud locking fluid in the head of the bolt and pushed the Allen key bit into it and left it overnight, managed to open it the next day, I definitely think it would have rounded off if I hadn't stuck the bit in. The torque needed to open it was way more than what a 6mm Allen key can transmit.
It might help reduce the chances of rounding the heads for you.

Just a carbide drill, It takes 5mins a bolt
Before I retired, was the plant engineer in a soap factory and had to disassemble the motor/gearbox/agitator flange on a 1500 gallon steam jacketed lye mixer with 20-odd 1 in. (25mm or so) hex cap screws in a blind location and never serviced in at least 25 years... Used a 20:1 gear reduction 1in. drive with 10 feet of pipe on a SnapOn 3/4 in. breaker bar and broke 2 forged impact sockets by the time I was done getting them out. If I had to do it again I would have probably tried a beefier reduction wrench like this one just to try to make things easier and more controllable.
I was 12 ft. up in the air hanging on to the motor/gearbox mount with both arms and pushing on the pipe with both feet for all I was worth before they broke loose. You do need something pretty stout for the gear reduction wrench to react against, as I'm pretty sure the torque at the housing is the same as the torque generated at the fastener. Good Luck!

Iv got a million and one thing to do for the next few days but I’m going to do some research as it needs to be able to survive heat treatment at just shy of 700c
