That's that bit done for now...just got weld up the bend and install the steel pipe.

Travelling steady is now bolted down. Couldn't get the big pre war whitworth bolts in. Had to go slightly smaller. I do love the old whitworth stuff..big full size heads.

Cool. That's a mk2 empire. Same as mine. Does it come with any faceplates or steadies.

All I managed to do today was mark and drill the holes for the lamp bracket. Just got to weld the fold and paint.

I would have gone for acorn nuts given those bolts face into the coolant tray, or stainless hardware. I can see them rusting and being a pain to remove

It's just fitment stages at the moment. Making sure one is happy with it before I weld and paint
