Most silicone will be fine esp as that's a double skinned flue but there are a few for sealing stoves. Having said that, the silicone currently sealing the top plate on my wood burner in the lounge is a Granville automotive RTV sealant and that's been fine.The through pipe is sealed in, and the inside finisher is, hopefully, stuck, to the wall. Paint is drying, so I'll tidy up for a bit. I must see if there's black fire resistant silicone to tidy the last bits up.
This is taking too long, but will be solid when done.
