You will struggle to bend the sheet steel so maybe worth cutting a cardboard profile and getting it rolled.

really,3mm sheet pushed in with the use of a fork lift?
I can put a curve with in 3mm using a bench setup,ok maybe not to the exact profile but pretty damn close

Hi, To be honest what use it's being put to is irrelevant, It's being used to lift weight to height and who knows what use it could be put to next week?

it can be a pain to pull in tight. tines tend to dent it rather than bend it nicely as well.

that bucket is far from bad ive seen far worse, id just slap some patches on it, any old rods will be fine on a light duity bucket as will plain old mild steel for the patches, light duity buckets are just mild anyway the blade on a cheep one is teh only reasoably tough bit, if you arc welding it id put a lot of effort into doing the least welding possible

There was a chap on here, can’t remember his name, was up near Manchester, haven’t seen him for a while now, he repaired all sorts of digger buckets
