hi there and thanks . your sander is verry impresive a smart job just checked the gap on the disk sander and its 3/4 of an inch stand off at 45 degrees so i take it u have eliminated that by using a trunnion

Yes my first arm was 1/4" off from 90 to 45 now about 1/32 off. I think with little more work could have made it perfect, But 1/32 is cool with me. will add that photo of the new arm soon Pretty wild looking arm but works real nice. THANK YOU VERNON

lol u might need that clearance depending what grade disks u are using

There's 3/16 clearence @ 90 and 1/8 @ 45 thats from the belt surface to the table edge. Vernon
